We provide administration and development.
The Library of the CAS coordinates the data collection, provides modifications and development of the entire ASEP/ARL system, outputs for the management of the CAS and prepares training and seminars for processors.
According to the Academic Council Directive no.
4 /2013, institutes of the CAS are obliged to store records of basic research outputs in the ASEP common database.
The ASEP database contains bibliographic records of the outputs of scientific research in the institutes of the CAS since 1993.
The number of document types is gradually increasing and the data structure is expanding.
ASEP/ARL Repository
It is an information system designed for digital archiving.
It is provided by preservation, protection, integrity, authenticity and accessibility of digital documents in the long term.
ASEP analytics
Bibliographic overviews and graphical outputs of basic research results of the areas, institutes, departments and scientists of the CAS. It contains bibliographic records of published or unpublished outputs of scientific research in the institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
History of the creation
1993 - Vznik databáze ASEP
Knihovna AV začala v roce 1993 koordinovat sběr bibliografických záznamů o výsledcích, které byly ukládány do databáze ASEP provozované tehdy v systému CDS ISIS.
2004 - Systém ASEP/ARL
V roce 2004 byly záznamy převedeny do modulu Evidence publikací knihovního systému ARL (Advanced Rapid Library). Základem systému ASEP/ARL je bibliografická databáze ASEP (1993), nad kterou byly v průběhu let vytvořeny tři nadstavby – webová aplikace Analytika ASEP (2009), repozitář plných textů (2012) a datový repozitář (2018).
2013 - Povinnost ukládat záznamy pro ústavy AV ČR
Od tohoto roku mají ústavy Akademie věd ČR povinnost ukládat záznamy o výstupech základního výzkumu do společné databáze ASEP.
2024 - Zapojení do projektu Národní repozitářové platformy (NRP)
Vybrané záznamy z ASEP jsou sklízeny systémy OpenAIRE, NÚŠL, Google Scholar, data jsou exportována do národního systému IS VaVaI. Zapojení repozitáře ASEP/ARL do projektu Národní repozitářové platformy (NRP) je dalším krokem k napojení systému ASEP/ARL do vznikající Národní datové infrastruktury.
