E-journals provide access to available e-books and journals in our library. The E-Journals portal allows users to search for journal titles available in subscription online databases and in selected freely available digital archives.

The electronic journals portal, managed by the University Library of Regensburg, Germany, allows you to check the availability of full-text electronic journals at more than 600 participating institutions, including our library.

The Knihovny.cz portal allows you to search for literature across all participating libraries simultaneously, saving time and simplifying the process of finding the resources you need. Additionally, the portal enables users to manage multiple library accounts in one place – check loan and reservation statuses, pay fees, and more—making it especially convenient for those registered with multiple libraries. Access to the service is available through our registration.

It serves as a central platform for gathering and sharing details about documents held in the collections of numerous cooperating Czech libraries and institutions.
The database contains over 7 million records, including Czech and international monographs, journals, proceedings, articles, scientific studies, and other significant materials. Users can access local catalogues of the libraries that own the documents, providing real-time information on their availability
Suggestions for Book Purchases
If you cannot find the book you’re looking for in our catalogues, you can submit a purchase suggestion via email at akviz@knav.cz or through an online form. Non-registered users are also welcome to submit suggestions.
Obtain Service "Získej"
With the Získej service, you can easily obtain a book from another library. Simply order it from the comfort of your home, and after receiving a notification, you can pick it up at the library within a few days. The book can be returned to the same location a month later.
The service fee is 70 CZK.
