The ISSN register is the most comprehensive reference source for identifying periodicals in the world, managed by the international organisation ISS: in addition to the assigned ISSN, the records also contain additional bibliographic data such as language, publisher, form and frequency of publication, etc. The database of Czech periodicals managed by the Czech National Centre for ISSN (National Technical Library) is freely available.
