Digital Humanities
The library has long been involved in the creation of an infrastructure for the digital humanities and, among other things, manages the Digital Humanities portal.
Its digital resources are involved in the national research infrastructure for Digital Humanities LINDAT/CLARIAH-CZ, to which it contributes through the database Bibliography of Foreign Language Bohemian Prints to 1800 (BCBT), the content of the Digital Library of the CAS, cooperation in the operation of the Czech Digital Library and the development of information systems related to digitization and digital libraries in cooperation with the National Library of the Czech Republic and the Moravian Library in Brno.
In 2023, the second four-year period of this research infrastructure involved in the European ERIC infrastructures DARIAH and CLARIN started.
During this year, the LINDAT/CLARIAH-CZ infrastructure was extended to include, among others, institutions participating in the EHRI (European Holocaust Research Infrastructure).
