Popis objektu

Stacionární navigační družice. Postavila ji firma Zhongguo Kongjian Jishu Yanjiuyuan <= 中国空间技术研究院 > /=Čung-kuo kchung-ťien ťi-šu jen-ťiou-jüan/ {=China Academy of Space Technology (CAST)}, Beijing /=Peking/ (Čína). Provozovatelem je čínská armáda Zhongguo Renmin Jiefangjun <= 中国人民解放军 > /=Čung-kuo žen-min ťie-fang-ťün/ {=Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA)}, Bejing /=Peking/ (Čína).

Tříose stabilizovaná družice typu DFH-3 <= 东方红三号 > [=Dongfang Hong sanhao /=Tung-fang chung san-chao/ {=Východ je rudý 3}] s tělem tvaru kvádru o rozměrech přibližně 2.2×1.72×2.0 m je vybavena dvěma třídílnými rozkládacími panely slunečních baterií o rozpětí asi 18 m dodávajících 2 kW elektrické energie. Nese navigační systém pracující v pásmu L (1.58974, 1.56110, 1.20714 a 1268.52 GHz), umožňující zjišťování polohy na základě vyhodnocení dotazu zaslaného uživatelem v pozemním řídicím středisku, které je schopno obsloužit až 540 000 uživatelů, a které výsledky zašle uživateli přes družici zpět v pásmu S (2.4835 až 2.5000 GHz, rychlost přenosu 2 Mbit/s). Spojový systém je vybaven výklopnou parabolickou anténou o průměru přibližně 1.8 m. Přesnost stanovení horizontální polohy je ±100 m (1 σ, s možností postupného zlepšení na ±10 m v souvislosti se zvyšováním přesnosti digitálních map terénu) a rychlosti ±0.2 m/s. Komunikační systém využívá 1 parabolickou a 1 koutovou anténu. Dále nese komunikační systém, zabezpečující přenos krátkých textových zpráv o délce až 120 čínských znaků. Družice slouží též pro zajišťování přesné časové služby (s přesností ±20 ns, postupně zvýšovanou na ±10 ns). Pro navedení na stacionární dráhu je vybavena vlastním pohonným systémem na KPL.

Družice je součástí navigačního systému CNSS [=Compass Navigation Satellite System], který má sestávat z 5 stacionárních družic (pozice 58.75°, 80°, 110.5°, 140° a 160° v.d.), 3 družic na geosynchronních 24hodinových drahách se sklonem 55° (délka výstupného uzlu 0°, 120° a 240°) a 27 družic, pohybujících se po 9 družicích ve třech rovinách po kruhových drahách s periodou 12.8 h se sklonem 55° k rovníku.

Systém CNSS byl uveden do částečného provozu2 dne 2011-12-27 pro oblast 84° v.d. až 160° v.d. a 55° s.š. až 55° j.š.

Plánovaný bod zavěšení je nad (dosud nezveřejněno). Předpokládaná doba aktivní životnosti je 8 roků.

Zatím poslední družice této řady. Předchozí družicí systému CNSS na 12tihodinové dráze je Beidou 2-M1 (2007-011A), další na stacionární dráze je Beidou 2-G3 (2010-001A).
