Application options

Can I register or renew my registration using Bank iD?

Yes, to conclude a contract for registration or renewal, you can conveniently use the Bank iD service. This simple method allows you to verify your identity online without the need for a personal visit to the library. All necessary information can be found on our webpage.

How to Register by Correspondence?

1. Download and print the registration form.
2. Take the completed form and a valid ID (ID card or residence permit) to any public administration contact point or Czech POINT. Here, your signature will be verified for a fee of 30 CZK. More information is available on the Czech Post website.
3. Send the verified form to the following address:

How to Register via Data Box?

1. Fill in the registration form.
2. Find the data box for the Library of the CAS (DS ID: a22nbqc).
3. In the subject line, enter “Registrace EIZ” and in the “2/3 of the message” section, attach a one-time instruction to display the following personal data:
• Name and surname
• Date of birth
• Address of residence
• Confirmation of the working relationship with the CAS (if relevant)
4. Submit your application.
Once we receive your application, we will send you a postal data message via the mailbox you used to apply for registration, no later than the next working day. This message will contain your login details for access to the electronic information resources (EIZ) and an invoice with payment instructions for the registration fee.
Please ensure that your mailbox is enabled to receive “Postal Data Messages” so we can deliver your login details and invoice.
Please pay the registration fee within 14 days of receiving the invoice. The payment should be made to the bank account of the Library of the CAS, as specified on the invoice.

How to Register Online?

1. Submit the completed registration form.
2. Confirm the validity of the email address provided in the form.
3. Confirm the validity of the telephone number provided in the form (this will confirm the authenticity of your application).
4. Wait for a message indicating whether your registration has been accepted or rejected (we process applications during working hours).
If the application is accepted
1. Upon receiving an email with your username and a link, set your password.
2. Pay the registration fee from a bank account where the account holder’s name matches the name on the registration form. This payment must be made within 14 days of your application’s acceptance.
3. We will verify your identity after the payment is received. If the payment is made from an account with a name that does not match, we will ask you to make the payment again. If this condition is not met within one week, we will delete the application, and the registration process will be terminated due to the inability to verify your identity.
4. If your payment and identity are successfully verified, we will send you an email to complete your registration.
5. Once registration is complete, you can start using remote access.
